About the Author:
Katrina Butler Hill's mother prayed for her while in the womb that “this” child would be a difference maker, a world changer and a blessing to every person they may meet. The blessings Katrina have received in her life are examples of those private and powerful prayers. She has taken a leap of faith from what is normal and entered into the next phase of her life, greeting the newness with open arms. Only in her mid 30's she has stepped into the world of writing leaving behind the fear of the unknown. Using her raw and uninhibited choice of words, Katrina is dedicated to pour into the life of her readers. Her first novel When the Well Runs Dry, published in 2011 proves that she is more than just a writer. She is a visionary full of wisdom, zest and flavor with the keen sense and ability to pull stories from her belly that will set your soul on fire. She has the unique skills needed to depict fictional characters that tell real life stories empowering, motivating, uplifting and encouraging her readers leaving them amazed to “find themselves” or someone they know in the midst of thousands of words that are displayed through out the hundreds of pages in her books. Taking notice of the cover for When the Well Runs Dry, most males anticipated another male bashing book, but to there amazement it was full of the total opposite and even they were moved with expectancy. She is thankful for the men that supported her dream of becoming an author by purchasing a book and more importantly, for falling in love with her edge of your seat scenarios. Katrina 's desire is to let women around the globe know that there is life after the death of a relationship, refuge amongst the ruble found after the storm and unspeakable joy on the other side of immense sorrow. She believes that God sets aside a special love “who” waits to enter in once we are willing to receive him fully; be patient, continue to prepare and do not waist time pretending. Men and Women struggle to hold on to happiness because they lack the 4C's that are needed to build the strong foundation which is required to have a healthy relationship. Katrina stands behind the 4C's that she feels build a strong foundation; Christ, Communication, Commitment, and Compassion. After the release of her first novel, When the Well Runs Dry, Katrina was asked, “What does it take to write a book and become an author?”Her reply was simple: “It takes the complete depletion of your mind, body, and soul.”
