Dwayne L. Buckingham, Ph.D, LCSW, BCD is a military veteran who spent more than a decade in the United States Air Force as a commissioned officer and clinician providing psychological assessments, treatment, psycho-educational training and consultation to over 40,000 military personnel and other eligible beneficiaries worldwide. In recognition of his outstanding service, Dr. Buckingham received six Commendation medals, a National Defense Service Medal, a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and five Achievement/Unit Medals. Currently, Dr. Buckingham is commissioned as an active duty Commander in the United States Public Health Service and is detailed to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center located in Bethesda, Maryland.
