When heart surgeon Adrian Douglas and Megan Haggarty, RN, meet at the hospital where they work, neither has any idea of the scorpion's nest into which they've stumbled. Strange and frightening events begin happening to each of them; someone is after them both--and the stalker is not only brilliant and crafty, but vows to exact revenge for the ultimate betrayal. As things spin out of control, Megan and Adrian fight for their lives.
When a spine-tingling trial for attempted murder is resolved, things return to normal--or so it seems. But more chilling surprises await the couple as Love Gone Mad rockets to a conclusion that brings the legal, medical, and psychiatric communities to their knees.

"Mark Rubinstein's Love Gone Mad is a beautifully crafted suspense novel. The characters are people you care about, the story is fast-paced and cleverly plotted, and the dialogue is on-point. Let me warn you, though. This book is Stephen King scary. Some of the scenes were so intense I found myself wanting to get up and go check the locks on my doors and windows."
--Scott Pratt, bestselling author of the Joe Dillard series
"I quickly found myself caught up in Love Gone Mad. Part love story, part Halloween, and part legal thriller, this eerie stalker tale ultimately asks the reader to examine the nature of evil and madness."

"With his experience as a forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Mark Rubinstein takes readers inside the mind of a man that is dangerous, delusional, insane to a point, brilliant, persistent and definitely diabolical as he manipulates lawyers, judges, doctors and an entire courtroom. Once again Mark Rubinstein pens a novel that far surpasses many others and is right up there with John Lescroart, Daniel Silva, James Patterson and Phillip Margolin." --Fran Lewis, Host, "Book Discussion --Elissa Durwood Grodin

"Love Gone Mad goes where most psych-thrillers (and really most suspense novels) end. . . . It's one heck of a ride! It's fast paced and fascinating and anyone who loves psych-thrillers and are interested in one that delves a little deeper than the average suspense novel will really enjoy Love Gone Mad!"
"It was a great thriller that kept you on the edge of your seat. There was a lot of action and suspense that kept me reading. This was the first book I have read by Mark Rubinstein and will definitely read more by him."
