About the Author:

Miranda McPhee and Suzanne Lifson met in Paris in 1990. They have both been traveling since they were very young, and between them they have globetrotted to 35 different countries. Miranda grew up in London, lived for years in Paris, New York and New Jersey, and now lives in Southern California. Suzanne grew up in Chicago, spent years in Paris, New Hampshire, Washington, DC, and has lived for a long time in San Francisco.
