Robert Jay is the award winning author of the Montooth series, which began with the crossover sensation Montooth and the Canfield Witch. He has received numerous accolades from literary organizations for adult fiction, young adult fiction, mystery/suspense, and historical fiction.
Jay gained the respect of family-oriented celebrities for his ability to bring heart-thumping action and adventure to his readers without resorting to shock-value language and sex that bombard young adults in the current era. His dynamic and humorous writing style attracts readers of all backgrounds and interests, and he has become a fan favorite of young adults and their parents.
Jay holds a business degree from Kent State University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis. A twenty-four year international banker, he presided over the 135-branch U.S. Military Banking system in West Germany, Holland, and Greece during the tumultuous years surrounding the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Since 1992, Jay has been the president of a national highway safety company headquartered in Florida, and he holds several patents for safety devices used on roads. He resides with his wife on a barrier island south of St. Petersburg, Florida, where they entertain a growing group of grandchildren as often as possible. He looks forward to when they are old enough to read the signature fables in his books.
