About the Author:

Geraldine MacLean is a poet, essayist and children’s writer who thinks animals are the best. She grew up in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia with fond memories of the family farm overlooking the shimmering, salt waters of Lake Bras d’Or. Today she lives in a gracious Victorian in the heart of the city and pines for a kitty cat, but with much travel on the books, she is writing about one instead. Nadine Donovan is a children’s author and illustrator who has known she wanted to tickle young ones’ funny bones since she was a kid herself. She grew up in a large family of readers, surrounded by books tattered and torn, their pages smeared sticky with jam and chocolate.
