"Wheneverthere is a meeting, a parting is sure to follow. However, that parting need not last forever..."- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Nintendo EAD (2000)
Skull Kids is a collection of poetry- or is it a graphic novel? Doesn't it say on the cover, Poetry to Read Alone in the Woods? While equal parts narrative and musing, Dylan Sanders' debut chapbook explores the themes of childhood and loneliness in a way few books of poetry are willing. A story unfolds between two narrators connected through the woods they occupy, and in the same way the poetry within the book is also connected. Be ready to get lost in it.

To all of my teachers, professors, and family, the poor kids who had to work the 4 am shift at Taco Bell on Saturday nights and old guys who made awkward sex jokes at rest stop urinals. To my nerd queen girlfriend, my favorite musicians who I held at gunpoint and forced to read this book, to anyone who read my first drafts and was honest about how unorganized they were and stuck with it until the end. More than anything else, to all of my friends; you made my life worth writing about.About the Author:
