About the Author:

Laura Cochran holds dual degrees in professional cooking and baking and has worked in many facets of the food service industry. Laura enjoys teaching others how to cook, as well as spending time in the kitchen creating new dishes, and customizing menu selections for her customers. Prior to her formal training, Laura taught herself how to cook as a teenager by studying cookbooks and burning lots of pots (but never a cake.) She is the chef and owner of Whisk Culinary Services, based in York, Pennsylvania.

Amalie Jahn is the author of the best-selling Clay Lion series. When she's not at the computer coaxing characters into submission, you can find her swimming laps, cycling, or running on the treadmill, probably training for her next triathlon.
