This is the first contemporary book I have written, and I have to say it was a lot of fun! Lake Howling has been simmering in the back of my head for some time, and when I finally had the chance to write it, I really enjoyed building the town and filling it with the people I thought deserved to live there. Series' are great fun, but because there will be more than one book, it's important to make sure your first book has set scene, and that you have consistency throughout, therefore I have a very extensive spread-sheet, helping me keep every detail, so I do not give a character black hair when they are blond in the first book lol.

Wendy Vella is a lover of all things romantic. She started reading her first Georgette Heyer book at a young age and instantly fell in love with the Regency era.
