LEGEND: Robin Hood was betrayed by the Prioress of Kirklees and murdered by her lover, Sir Roger of Doncaster. Sir Roger of Doncaster was an evil Norman Knight who also became known in the ancient ballads as Red Roger. The Legend Returns...was written by Roy K. Windsor. The book was written with a feature film adaptation in mind. The book is illustrated with a storyboard and contains a family section at the end. The author is a descendant of the Loxley family, which records show, lived in the area where the legends originated. The family section displays several interesting black and white photographs of Loxley family members living in Sheffield, England during the 1800's.
