Life was perfect for Alice. That is, until her husband dies unexpectedly, leaving her all alone. Suddenly the world becomes a scary place. His death made her rich, but also agoraphobic. With a long list of fears, she becomes a prisoner in her own home. Things begin to go terribly wrong when she suspects she is no longer alone in the house. Hearing mysterious footsteps, whispers, strange scratching sounds, and slamming doors only confirm her fears. Her mettle and knife skills are put to the test when she confronts the stranger dressed as a clown sitting at her kitchen table. Surprised by her own grit, she makes a plan to extract revenge on the person who sent the clown to her house in the first place, the one person she trusted.
