Dollywood, one of the premier theme parks in the United States, attracts millions of visitors to eastern Tennessee every year. The park’s wide range of attractions, family-friendly food and lodging, and close proximity to Great Smoky Mountains National Park make Dollywood a complete vacation destination. Dollywood and Beyond! A Theme Park Lover's Guide is the everything-you-need-to-know handbook for planning your Dollywood adventure.
Dollywood’s sheer number of attractions and events can be overwhelming. Visitors will want to do it all: Ride roller coasters in the main park, slip down waterslides in Dollywood’s Splash Country, stay at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort, see a show at Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, and hike in the national park. Author Michael Fridgen is a Dollywood pro. He provides very practical advice and information, including descriptions of each ride, lodging and dining guides, and tips for avoiding lines and traffic.
Dollywood and Beyond! is the first and only comprehensive guide to Dollywood, and it showcases Fridgen’s love of the park along with the Smoky Mountain region. Dolly Parton, the American legend behind Dollywood, would surely approve.
