Dr. Kristin Struble is a practicing pediatrician in Phoenix, Arizona and is dedicated to promoting the message that a healthy diet is good medicine and that the body talks to us through our poop. She is passionate about nutritional education, particularly in changing the traditional thinking of where children's calorie sources should come.

This book is so much fun to read! I say that as a parent and as aphysician. How to be a "poop" detective is also, and more importantly,fantastic for our children. Since this bodily function occurs ineverybody, every day, but is taken for granted, this book gives itcredence. Many children, and for that matter many adults, have problemsthat relate to poop or whose poop tells the story of other problems.Since this is usually a private matter, most kids are taught not to talk about it. That leaves a very important topic poorly addressed. Thisbook takes care of all of that.

The illustrations are amazing and Dr. Struble directed her wonderful illustrator well.

Accordingly, the book is easy to read, rolls right along with thepictures, and creates an opportunity for conversation. That is exactlywhat a children's book should do. Additionally, this book lends itselfto be read multiple times.
