About the Author:
Gale Blake is an author, life coach, and motivational speaker. She writes short stories about her life. During her stay in a shelter for abused women, Gale began writing this book "Recovery to Rebound: A Walk in My Ragged Torn Shoes." At that time she was so distraught about having to continue making a way for herself and her children while coping with her emotional trauma. Everything had changed and her reality was distorted. Though she was not ready to face the world again, God gave her the serenity to look at all of the other women who were hurting around her. In 2015, fourteen years later, Gale heard God's whisper telling her that it is her mission to take all of her pain and use it to motivate others. She surrendered to the call to write about domestic violence, parenting, and hidden desires. With this, she found peace and was finally able to let go and began to live.
