About the Author

Ron & Marsha Harvell have been married since 1984. After seminary they began three wonderful callings-being the parents of Stephanie and Steven, full-time pastoring, and the Air Force chaplaincy. In these pursuits, the LORD has called them to be completely committed to ministering to their children, faith communities, and military communities. They have been to all seven continents, ministered in 29 countries, and have lived at overseas military locations for 12 years. Commissioned missionaries to the military by the North American Mission Board, they have pastored, planted, and consulted for local churches. Marsha is an international trainer for Precept Ministries International, has taught several hundred people how to study and teach God's Word, and is the author of The Covenant Maker: Knowing God and His Promises for Salvation and Marriage. Together they have authored The Watchman on the Wall: Daily Devotions For Praying God's Word Over Those You Love, Volumes 1& 2 and 50 Steps with Jesus: Learning to Walk Daily with the LORD. Ron's doctorate is in Transformational Leadership for the Global City from Asia Graduate School of Theology. He has held several senior level ministry positions in the Air Force resulting in pastoral care for over 130,000 Airmen and their families. Their children are both married and are serving the LORD with their families overseas. Ron and Marsha are blessed with seven grandchildren. Wendy K. Walters is the seventh generation to work in vocational ministry. She loves God's Word and God's people. An activator with infectious energy, she is a motivational speaker and master executive coach. As a branding and publishing expert she has launched many first-time authors and businesses. Spirited and engaging, Wendy provokes people to make life-changing choices. She is a composite minister/entrepreneur, serving as the director for Palm Tree Productions and president of The Favor Foundation, a ministry devoted to touching people with the Kingdom of God-calling out their greatness, helping them find the courage to walk confidently in their purpose, and fulfill the largeness of what God has promised them. She is the author of Intentionality: Live on Purpose, Marketing Your Mind, Selling Without Sleaze, and Postworthy: Words to Encourage and Inspire. Together with her husband since 1989, Todd, they have three grown children: Kathryn, Emily, and Joshua.
