About the Authors

Sabrina Ferri grew up in Italy and lived in the United States for over twenty years. She has been a researcher and a literature professor at US universities. She has published a non-fiction book and many articles about literature, history, and philosophy. This is her first fiction book for children. She currently lives in Rome, Italy, where she keeps writing and thinking about books and fantasy worlds.

Luisa Galstyan is a passionate fairy tale and fantasy artist specializing in children's books and book covers. She develops her skills to create enchanting visuals that transport readers to a world of magic. Throughout her freelance career, she has created numerous books and covers, delighting both authors and readers alike.

Stefania Benini is a Teaching Fellow of Italian at the Franklin & Marshall College. She was the Lauro de Bosis Fellow at Harvard in 2014-15. She published a book on Pier Paolo Pasolini's vision of the sacred titled "Pasolini: The Sacred Flesh" in 2015 for the University of Toronto Press.
