Dr Viktor Dörfler is a scholar, consultant, teacher, and speaker. Dr Dörfler's scholarly research into knowledge and learning focuses on intuition, creativity, talent, and the grandmaster-apprentice relationship. He conducted in-depth open-ended interviews with 20 top scientists, including 17 Nobel Laureates, in order to understand the thinking and learning of those at the highest level of mastery. 1999-2004 Dr Dörfler spearheaded the development of AI software; underlined by his applied research producing new algorithms, comparing various AI solutions, and exploring the validity of AI. In his consultancy work Dr Dörfler advises on AI implementation to support complex decisions through modelling expert knowledge and on fostering grandmaster-apprentice relationships to improve organizational learning.
