Synocate really helped my cousin learn about US colleges. She's an international student who did not know much about US admissions. She gained acceptance to several schools and highly recommend any counseling from them. This book helped her figure out how to apply, when to apply, and what she should write. --Nisha
Get started - the earlier the better! This is a great book to read for parents whose first son or daughter is getting started on the journey to college applications. I couldn't believe how difficult it is nowadays to get into college and any tidbit of knowledge helps us be prepared --Alex
This book was a practical guide that outlined key steps that helped me stand out in the college admissions process. I liked that the book created 4 buckets for extracurricular activities and advised you to develop a thread / common theme across these 4 buckets. This book also gave great advice on creating a college list (don't apply to too many safety or reach schools) and writing college essays (there is a different approach to different essay prompts). Definitely a very helpful read for me as a high school junior and senior. --Rye
