Rhodanthe.--One of the prettiest and most delicate of the everlastings; native of Northern Australia; flower of peculiar shape; colors pure silvery white, with yellow disc, rosy-crimson, bright purple, rose suffused with white, etc.; leaves heart-shaped and lustrous; calyx long, scrubby and sinning. Start seeds in hotbed; transplant to warm place, one foot apart; tender annual, growing one foot high; very desirable. leranthemum.--A free-blooming an-.pfiliP nual, of neat compact habit, growing less Helichrysum. than one foot high; leaves, silvery; colors purple, blue, and white; single and double; seeds germinate freely; transplants well; plants should be ten inches apart. Gypsophila.--A valuable flower for bouquets whether green or dry; forms a delicate net-work of fine flowers; dwarf plant, with white and pink star-shaped blossoms; blossoms first season and for several years after; a very desirable little plant, worthy of annual cultivation. Briztl Maxima.--The well known shakinggrass; grows about one foot high; most valuable of this class. Erianthus Ravenna1.--A perennial, perfectly hardy grass resembling Pampas Grass; best large grass known; grows ten feet high.
