At Bay Shore cliffs of friable or sugary yellow brown limestone varying from a few feet to 40 feet or more in height extend continuously along the shore for a considerable distance. Here the lower terrace is several hundred feet wide but the overburden is relatively thick in most places. Northern Lime Co. quarry. Bay Shore or Standard Plant.
