About the Author
Macfarlane has worked in the computer industry since 1974. He has been a systems analyst and programmer, an IT manager in manufacturing and service organizations, a consultant and a lecturer. In addition to his involvement with business systems he has taught courses on aspects of technology and society and on Western philosophy. He has also written technical papers on Quantum Mechanics and Mathematical Biology. He works as a business analyst and systems tester in Australia.
