" In two places, the factories of Zindel and Schrader, events assumed a most serious character. The quarters occupied by the few Germans who were still employed there were entirely plundered, and their owners roughly handled by the infuriated crowd. " From that moment, and as if this had been the signal for a general riot, the most regrettable incidents took place.
