Synopsis
A charming holiday picture book about a girl, her pet lion, and a Christmas adventure.
Iris and her lion go everywhere together. But when Christmas comes and the family is going away, Mum says the lion must stay behind. After all, you can't take a lion on a train. Luckily the lion has other ideas. He sets off on a festive, snowy adventure to find Iris―and almost bumps into Santa Claus!

About the Author
Helen Stephens likes to draw in a sketchbook every day, and often these sketchbook drawings lead to new picture book ideas. Helen studied illustration at Glasgow School of Art and has worked as a freelance illustrator and as an editorial illustrator. She lives in London.
Stephens has illustrated the How to Hide a Lion books, as well as Gracie Grabbit and the Tiger and The Smalls, among others.
