Fisdap, in cooperation with Inver Hills Community College and three Minnesota EMS agencies (Allina Health, Gold Cross Ambulance and North Memorial Hospital), has developed online, interactive courses to transition EMS providers to the National Education Standards. To build the curriculum for these courses, we used the Gap Analysis that was created by the National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO). They determined, at a national level, what the “gap” of knowledge was between the “old” National Standard Curriculum and the “new” National Education Standards. The key information outlined in the Gap Analysis comprises the training modules presented in Fisdap’s training videos. The training content is meant to be universal for all United States EMS providers and also follows the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines. While these videos may or may not follow your specific state or local guidelines, they do meet the gap of knowledge required for EMS providers to transition. Each state will manage the psychomotor skill process of the transition. Ready to get started? Call Fisdap at 651-690-9241 for your free demo.
