This is a reprint of a classic 1901 book. The first 14 chapters are stories and folktales about the Cowichan Indians. The last six are about the Cree Indians. Martha Douglas Harris was born in 1854 and died in 1933.
About the Author:
Dr. Paul J. Lindholdt edited the book and wrote an introduction for it. He is associate professor of English at Eastern Washington University.
