Excerpt from Elementary Trigonometry<br/><br/>I have attempted in this work to explain and illus trate the principles of that portion of Plane Trigonometry which precedes De Moivre's Theorem. The method of explanation is similar to that adopted in my elementary algebra. The examples, progressive and easy, have been selected chie?y from College and University Ex amination Papers, but I am indebted for many to the works of several German writers, especially those of Dienger, Meyer, Weiss, and Wiegand.
