Through the unknown Pamirs (vakhan and Garan) W. Heine mann. London. The latter book therefore forms a supplement to the present work. In the preparation of this volume I have con salted the works given in the list of literature. The map has been drawn on the base of the well-known 40 Verst map with contributions from my own detailed maps which may be found in those of my pamphlets which are noted down in the list of literature. In Through the unknown Pamirs I have given the details of my two journeys in Asia I st and 2nd Danish Pamir Expeditions) and have therefore omitted them here.
