To put the theoretical formulas to a practical test, the author designed and tested eight reinforced concrete frames. The tests subjected the frames to loads to measure deformation and observe behavior and were used to extrapolate insights into real-world construction. The research presented in this book will be of value to practicing structural engineers and to engineering students interested in the theory and design of reinforced concrete structures.
