Synopsis
When a supernatural force possesses elements of the Iraqi insurgency, British forces bring in John Constantine to handle the problem.
Something terrifying and strange has occurred — outstanding even among horrors faced every day by John Constantine. Intelligence specialists have discovered elements of the Iraqi insurgency may be demonically possessed, and they smell a supernatural rat named “Nergal.” No one in the intelligence agencies is qualifi ed to handle this problem and a private contractor must be employed. Constantine is taken from the comfort of his London home to the brutal climates of Iraq due to military coercion, but also because of his interest in a mysterious, beautiful Iraqi agent whose true allegiances are kept in shadow.

About the Author
Jock is the New York Times best-selling British artist best known for his comics work with writer Andy Diggle on DC/Vertigo's The Losers, the award-winning Batman: The Black Mirror, and Wytches with writer Scott Snyder. Jock has also produced key art, concept design, and promotional imagery for films including Iron Man 3, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Dredd, Star Wars: Episode VIII, and the Oscar-winning Ex Machina. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he now lives and works in Devon, England.
