Review:
The audience participation...makes...it easy for people not experienced at leading group learning activities to...successfully deliver an engaging learning experience...all the preparation is done and could be assigned to a staff nurse or nurses to deliver. Pat Trapp, Staff Educator, Beaver Dam Community Hospital, Columbus, WI
It helps to see on a screen what the instructor is talking about--it's a reinforcement of material and helps visual learners...I would use this...for all new CNAs coming into the facility who would be working with our dementia residents, especially in our Alzheimer's unit. Marie Moran, RN, BA, NAGNA: Staff Development, Loveland Good Samaritan Village, Loveland, CO
Having the handouts [and] the PowerPoint...[will] be very useful to a health care organization. This [will] save on development time and [will ensure] that information was given in a consistent manner. Deb Drexler, MS, RN, BC; Director of Clinical Nursing, Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, FDL, WI
I think this product would be excellent for long-term care facilities, not only for Nursing Assistants, but also for Nurses. There are a lot of good suggestions for the care of this type of patient, and Nurses may need a reminder of some of this [too]. Suzette Bos, Nursing Staff Development Coordinator, Austin Medical Center, Newton, MA
