About the Author

Born in 1818, the British author and poet Emily Brontė is best known for Wuthering Heights, originally published under the male pseudonym Ellis Bell. Brontė became a teacher, but her poor health forced her to quit, giving her more time to write. Wuthering Heights was published in 1848, and has become a celebrated and classic work of English literature.  Fashion illustrator Sara Singh's art has appeared in such prominent publications as Vogue, The New York Times, and House Beautiful and she has worked for designers like Givenchy, Tiffany, and Neiman Marcus.
