Hannah Reidy is a Capstone Press author. From Booklist:
PreS. The illustrator of Dog's Colorful Day (2001) and others lends her sweet, stylized artwork to Reidy's series of early concept books, All Sorts of Things, which includes this title on clothing. Though the text seems to emphasize slightly unconventional wardrobe components, such as a fuzzy "collar" or an oversize "checkered shirt" worn as a smock, Dodd's clean, clear illustrations of a multiracial mix of preschoolers in varied modes of attire, reproduced on big, 20-by-10-inch spreads, will ignite enthusiastic discussion about this familiar aspect of a child's daily life. The space taken up by a spread of incongruous, age-inappropriate end matter would have been better served by more of Dodd's appealing artwork, but the preceding material offers many sound opportunities to develop children's awareness of objects in categories and the distinctions between them.
