Return
The eagerly-anticipated finale of Aaron Becker's wordless trilogy - a spectacular, suspenseful and moving story that brings its adventurer home. Aaron Becker, creator of the award-winning Journey and its stunning, celebrated sequel, Quest, presents the final chapter in his luminous, wordless fantasy. Failing to get the attention of her busy father, a lonely girl turns back to a fantastic world for friendship and adventure. It's her third journey into the enticing realm of kings and emperors, castles and canals, exotic creatures and enchanting landscapes. But this time, it will take something truly powerful to persuade her to return home, as a gripping backstory is revealed that will hold readers in its thrall. The final title in Aaron Becker's wordless picture book trilogy that began with the Caldecott Honor-winning Journey (2013) and continued with Quest (August, 2014). Echoes of Journey and Quest are clear in the book design, and will immediately prompt excited recognition for the series. In his short, two-book career, Aaron Becker has garnered and nurtured (via social media) a huge fan base for his work.

Aaron Becker dreamed of traveling to castles when he was a young boy. At age ten, he was lucky enough to visit the walled island of Mont Saint-Michel in France and, many years later, that visit inspired him to create the castle featured throughout the Journey trilogy. Aaron recently returned to Europe with his family, where he completed the watercolour paintings you see in this book. Aaron Becker lives in Massachusetts, USA with his wife and daughter.
