This autobiography was made possible because of my friends' insistence that I write about my military experience. It was very specific in all areas that my childhood led into my below-age enlistment (16 1/2 years) into the U.S. Army. Then finished up by my retirement at the age of 36 1/2 from the armed forces on July 1960. In 1992 Col. Dale Masuda, Commander of the 70th Training Squadrn (Building 1927) dedicated the conference room of Mattis Hall as Wayne A. Kuschel's room. Currently, my shadowbox, clothing and other articles are located in the airman leadership school building 832 on Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.
