Spinderella Soap entertains a tale of many lessons in love. Spinderella's story is playfully exaggerated using magazine images collaged with metaphoric rhythmic words. She struggles for joy through self-actualization and independent success by transforming her physical and spiritual hardships. Inspirational mystical beings of all sorts assist Spinderella to seek the truth. Spinderella Soap encourages the reader to seek insightful lessons in life that can be seemingly contrary such as: laughter/tears; wisdom/foolishness; mistakes/success and yet complementary contrasts necessary to find inner freedom.

Spinderella is a woman who is in her 30's going through the rituals of divorce. Each Soap Scene leads her to discover what brings happiness. "Spinderella mediates with the Divine, within her mind a sandcastle shrine." [Soap scene #12] Many beings help to guide her through difficult transformations..."The Miracle Maids appear at the door" [soap scene #16] She desires... "...A new love mate. Arriving in the glorious place called Man-if-fest State"[soap scene #17] Spinderella finds love with a surrealist painter. "Je suis une Artiste, Orbit Orange de Paris. Would you like to dance?" [Soap scene #18] Spinderella's rise to fame sacrifices intimacy with Orbit Orange. A mystic lover introduces her to the Piazza of Curses [soap scene #25] where she faces her darkest of fears. About the Author:

Minaz Jantz currently resides in Vancouver B.C. Canada with her love, Jim Hewett in their east side "lofty place" studio. Her bohemian life style brings to her many opportunities to draw upon artistically. Minaz paints and creates stories of life styles that reflect many who are in the entertainment world. She can often be found drawing the characters from life that are inspired by frequenting recording studios, back stages, clubs, movie sets, carnivals, theatres, galleries, etc.

Artistic eccentricity and her quest for the hidden significance of life have always come natural even in her educational directions that include: 1st year Auto Mechanics, Interior Design, Modern & Jazz dance, Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Business Math. Life + Art = Happiness is the most important equation to Minaz's existence; she follows the belief that if you don't like your movie than change the script.

Minaz's artwork no matter what the subject matter and setting all reflect her mystical side in a conceptual world where all her symbols stand for some reality. Her childhood spent in Europe exposed her to many Masters of art and architecture that still influence her style. The Masters set a marker for perfecting her techniques and exploring many medias. As a teenager she first worked in an art gallery and later worked with her mother in the family store optimistically named "UCANDU" arts and crafts. It is ere where she was encouraged to learn not only art but to also become an entrepreneur and teacher.
