In her 16 years of teaching, she has had experience with first- through 12th graders. She has been Gifted And Talented Education coordinator, Leadership team member, Department Head, a mentor teacher, completed the Inland Empire Writing Project, and served as a Language Arts consultant for the California Language Arts Project. Review:

"Record Keeping Made Simple provides excellent tips and would be perfect for both new and experienced teachers. I picked up a number of useful pointers that I had never thought of in my 28 years of teaching." (Sharon Jeffery, National Board Certified Teacher 2005-01-05)

"This book will help teachers deal effectively with students and parents, protect themselves with adequate and proper documentation, and improve student achievement. It′s also easy to read and gets to the point." (Charles F. Adamchik, Jr., Director of Curriculum 2005-02-08)

"This text is a must-have for any educator in any classroom setting . . . simple strategies to use for teachers who are short on time." (Chantal E. Wesley, M.Ed., Teacher 2005-03-16)

"Mierzwik′s worksheets are easy to use. Her anecdotal style takes the reader aside and states clearly what works and why. The reader has the feeling of talking to a trusted colleague who shares both her pitfalls and successes." (Susan Blake, Veteran Teacher 2005-04-04)

"This wonderful resource allows you to try different methods of record keeping, finding what works for you and changing what doesn′t. If you are looking for a resource to help you manage the endless paper trail that is such an integral part of teaching, this book is definitely a resource to consider―whether you have been teaching for two years or 30." (Professionally Speaking, June 2007 2007-07-02)
