Dreamland Memories is a wonderful collection of poetry written primarily for children, but very readable for adults as well. It contains poetry written about the author’s childhood memories and observations on her way to adulthood. The inspiration for this book was the author’s father. He read to her from infancy from a book called The Golden Book of Poetry, which is no longer in print. She felt the necessity for a similar book that would delight children as she had been delighted. Always fascinated by poetry, she has written an inspiring collection of poems that address many subjects, including nature, death, our fears, and our joys ... things that most people would revel in if they took the time to notice the small things that surround us. The rhyme and rhythmic perfection of the poems in this anthology make it an appealing book for children from eight to eighty.
