What do Robert Fulghum, Bill Clinton, the Cincinnati Reds, George Bush, a guy named Max, the church, dirty diapers, Evel Knievel, roadkill, Mike Royko and Christmas all have in common? Nothing. To the average person, anyway. But to one person, these are just a few of the people, places and things that have occupied his mind for years. Paul Uhls, born and raised in Mooresville, Indiana, has been observing and writing about almost anything since his days in high school journalism class. Reflecting a variety of influences, and not willing to hold anything back, Go Figure is a collection of thoughts that offer a unique view of the world around us as seen through his slightly different perspective. How many people can claim to be a writer, a DJ and a church staffer who likes to sing, play drums, watch Cincinnati Reds games and Mork & Mindy? Or when was the last time you thought about Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, Thanksgiving dinner and brain tumors all at the same time? We'd like to say this is a tantalizing tale of red-hot romance and international intrigue, intertwined with spine-tingling mystery and white-knuckle action. But we'd be lying. Instead, it's a collection of random thoughts, presented in no particular order, from a point of view moderately askew. Go figure!
