About the Author

Anna Walker, author and illustrator of the I Love series, lives in Melbourne, Victoria. She completed a degree in Graphic Design in 1994 before becoming a freelance illustrator. Anna's illustrations have enjoyed international success in a broad range of products, from greeting cards to Christmas decorations. PreSchool-K—Ollie the cartoon zebra from I Love Christmas (HarperCollins, 2009) returns to chronicle in rhyme activities shared with each parent. With Dad, Ollie bakes banana bread, rides a bike, climbs a tree, and paints a fence. Ollie and Mom walk through a park and use their imaginations, then return home for a treat and bath. Bedtime is the favorite because with Dad, Ollie gets a piggyback ride, and Mom provides a goodnight kiss. In both stories, the family dog tags along for the fun. Delicate color illustrations rendered in ink sit on white backgrounds to showcase simple scenes with bright butterflies or playground equipment that nicely contrast with the gray-and-white-striped characters.
