Shadows of Love is a love story, but a very suspenseful one that keeps you setting on the edge of your chair wondering what is going to happen next. It is a story involving a young girl growing up in a wealthy family from England. Her immoral father, (a NC Senator) and alocoholic mother (from a royalty family) do not provide Tiffany with a fairytale childhood. Even though Tiffany's parents surround her with lots of materialistic things, her heart still feels empty because of missing out on the most important thing of a word called "love." She finally meets the man of her dreams, but Luke's family is not wealthy enough or socially accepted enough for Tiffany's dad. He has other plans for Tiffany so she would bring him honor and not blemish the family's reputation. After graduating, he sends Tiffany to Washington DC to live with his brother. Soon, however, painful secrets emerge from "Shadows of Love" when tiffany returns to Maggie Valley. The question remains, Is Tiffany and Luke's relationship strong enough to survive. This story enlightens my readers to never give up. Anyone that ever experienced hardships and tragedy in their lives will know that no matter how bad life becomes, these events can sometimes lead to greater blessings and an appreciation for all of life's wonders. We should stay encouraged to make bold choices and to strengthen our resolve to keep living, dreaming, and persevering.
