Her protagonist now clean from crack cocaine, revisits her abusive past throughout the novel in deft melding of old scars and present consequences. This moving story promotes letting go of the past and accepting healing in all its various forms.

Ashley resides in Vallejo, CA. with the love of her life Rickey. She has 3 adult children Tyrone, Qiana & Da'Vonne & 7 grandchildren. This is her first novel. She attended Nyack High School in Nyack, N.Y. & Merritt College in Oakland, CA. She is employed at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, where she has been a Dietary Aide for 21 years. She has completed her second novel and is currently working on her thrid.
