Sick of the ruthless and fast paced antics of city living and hoping to recover his failing marriage, Russell Maxwell resigns from the illustrious firm of Linden, Stokes and Webb to open up his own small practice in the country. Hoping to spend more time with a family he has hardly seen over the last 14 years, Russell sets up his office in their large country house. In helping them come to grips with their past, Russell finds his own inner peace and purpose. Freeloaders is a story of lost souls trying to find their way home with the one man who will help them move on.
