In 1969, a hurricane slammed into the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. This storm was one of the worst in U.S. history, and it severely damaged a large portion of the coast. This hurricane was a lady called Camille. On August 29, 2005, another hurricane, bigger and more powerful than anything recorded in the history of the South, came ashore, bringing total destruction and death, from western Florida to New Orleans and beyond. There was nothing ladylike about this hurricane, and when all is said and done, I think that most people involved with this hurricane will agree that she should be remembered not as a lady at all, but as A Bitch Called Katrina.
