Edith was inspired to conduct objective historical research about the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) church after a brief encounter with an SDA friend who said, “You know what they say about Adventists.” A brief conversation changed her life forever. Since Edith didn’t know, she was impressed to find out. Two days later, while searching the internet she saw a heading—“Seventh-Day Adventism Reexamined”—and clicked on the topic hoping to see what was being said about SDAs. Finding astonishing information, she decided to check it out by doing objective research about the SDA church to determine whether what she found was from disgruntled former SDAs criticizing the church, or whether the concerns were valid. This book presents her findings, some of her experiences as an active SDA member for over twenty-six years, and relates why she and her family left Adventism and now embrace mainstream Christianity.
