Marvin E. Morris was born in a middle-class town in a time that was simple and moral. At least he thought it was, being raised in an environment that isolated him from the complications of everyday life. As he became an adult, he found that being raised by caring parents in a middle-class town ill prepared him for the “real world” and the challenges that it presents. Through life’s encounters and his many mistakes, Marvin has come to question the evolution of America. He attacks subjects such as politics, corporate America, family, relationships, celebrities, and the media with cynicism and solutions for the future. After going full circle, he now finds himself in a middle-class town, isolating his own children from the challenges of everyday life in America. This is a story of what America has become, and what it can be.
