About the Author

Susan Barry Blair was born in Chichester, England in 1963. At the age of 11, Susan said goodbye to her friends and left England to embark on a year-long sailing voyage. Susan and her family never returned to England, choosing instead to start a new life in America. They settled in South Carolina where Susan earned her degree in Occupational Therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina. Today, Susan lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her husband, Grant and two sons, Ryan and Regan. The family shares Susan s love of sailing spending time on their own sailboat "Ceili".
