Beverly Goodwin, seventh child of a West Virginia coal miner. Attended one year of college at Concord College in Athens, West Virginia, then went to Chicago to the Art Institute where I decided that art was a hobby, not a passion, so I enrolled at Saint Xavier University in Chicago to study pre-law. I went to John Marshall Law School in Chicago. After years in the hustle and bustle of life in the big city, I retired to a calmer life in rural Kentucky to indulge in my two passions of golf and writing. I am kept grounded by my fourteen year old granddaughter who has lived with me since she was a baby. She is my tutor and computer whiz! We are accompanied by our dog Lucky and her horse Mc Cloud.
