About the Author

David Walker David Walker began his formal journey into D/s in 1980. As a corporate trainer he often traveled to southern California and San Francisco where he was introduced to the BDSM lifestyle. As an educational developer he has both authored and taught BDSM programs for local, regional and national meetings and conferences. David Walker is a founding member of SAADE (School for Advanced American Dominant Education) and an emeritus member of its Tribal Council. He currently is the executive director for the Council of Tribes network of BDSM clubs in Texas and the founder of the Austin Mentors program. The year-long Austin Mentors Program provides in-depth training For those who are serious about their personal development in the lifestyle. He continues as a mentor and teaches both Ethics in the Lifestyle and Fire Play basics. Corwin Corwin, an erotic and fetish photographer was introduced to fire play in December, 2001 as part of the training course offered by the Austin Mentor’s program. It was love at first flash, and over the next year he continued to practice and expand his knowledge of this form of play. In 2003, Corwin was himself invited to be one of the Mentors that provide training in this year-long program. At that point, he began teaching fire play – eight times a year. Corwin has continued this teaching ever since, adding fire play “magic tricks” as he can find (and master) them. Within his local BDSM community, Corwin has served as a board member of the National Leather Association – Austin Chapter, and as a Council Member for SAADE – School for Advanced American Dominance Education.
