What similarities could an old gravel road, debilitating vertigo, and an emotional rollercoaster possibly hold to a young, southern woman's placement in the puzzle we call humanity? You are cordially invited to join Racquel Rowne as she battles mental and physical demons, and is ultimately forced to succumb to true, unorthodox evil. Believing that we, secondary to God, are the masters of our fate, Racquel is chosen to deliver the perfectly small details of a perfectly horrible end! But, she is very skeptical that her own involvement is absolutely necessary to fulfill a foretold prophecy.Beginning in a small, unknown Appalachian town in Kentucky, the turn of events forces the reader to New York City, finally returning Racquel to her home state, and to her own, deep-planted, southern roots! As she befriends a priest, by supernatural acquaintance, he proves to be a constant pillar of strength, and a wise informant, without which, she would never have had the inspiration to have begun, nor finish, her journey as a key player in biblical prophecy! With God ironically planning and delivering her fate, Racquel unknowingly becomes the mother of perdition. But, redemption is priceless, and certainly without regret!

About the Author:

Rhonda Jackson Brown is a non-fiction inspired, fiction writer from Kentucky. After unknowingly beginning her career with poetry from an early age, she has since spread her writing wings to that of fiction novels and children's books. Rhonda also enjoys her career as a nurse, and part-time on-air personality! As she is a true southerner, Rhonda has long struggled with the stereotypic label "hillbilly." But, as some things are pre-destined and utterly unavoidable, we give her chance meeting as a "weaver of words," to fate! Brown has said that her own battle with vertigo, and Meniere's Disease, was her true inspiration for this novel.Knowing there would be many struggles along the way, Rhonda wasn't surprised to have received numerous publisher and agent rejections. But, she now gives her previous losses a boastful, but grateful look back! It is with new love for victory, however, that she remembers having received the following letter of rejection from a fiction agent.
