"The Girl In the Tower" is an allegorical tale on romance. Its setting is in ancient, Medieval Times, bringing the reader back to a place where knights & fair maidens & castles & kings are part of everyday life. It is filled throughout with drama, surprises, and inflictions of intense pain from self-indulgent antagonists. This story mixes fantasy (giants, dragons, & fire-swamps) along with a taste of tradition & normal affairs of ancient kingdoms, particularly as related to royalty. Sprinkled all throughout are philosophically challenging moments for the main character (Passionate) and spiritual lessons, leading the reader to take a very deep look into the importance of playing an effective role in the whole process of courtship & falling in love. While the book focuses largely on struggles from the knight's perspective, the princess & her battles are treated as equally intense & important. The purpose of spending more time telling the knight's side of the tale is largely due to the author's passion for helping men everywhere come face-to-face with the Maker's design for their lives, and to catch glimpses into the beautiful mystery of capturing a woman's heart.

About the Author:

Frank Carter merges contemporary pop, rock, and classical. Throughout his high school years, Frank worked as a mechanic after school. However, he still found time to earn several state championships in piano, songwriting, and voice. He has been published in places such as, "The National Dean's List", "Who's Who", and "Outstanding Young Men of America". During his career of studying piano with Maurice Hinson (one of the top classical musicologists in the world), he won the school's concerto competition, which resulted in a performance of Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto with the symphony orchestra. Frank has performed & led worship in many venues across the nation including youth camps, state conferences, churches, and several Life and Witness Courses leading up to the Billy Graham Crusade in Louisville, KY in June of 2001. Frank is a prolific composer of songs, piano solos, orchestrations, choral works, and etc. He has played in several public piano recitals, and was a participant in a young artist recital at the Van Cliburn Institute in Fort Worth, Texas in 2002. He earned a Master's Degree in 2003. In 2003, Frank was hired by IPI Records and released the album Walk Alone? with label mate Shari Farmer. After achieving tremendous support by performing in venues throughout their hometown of Deltona, Florida and surrounding areas, the single "Never Need To Walk Alone," was placed in heavy rotation on several Central Florida radio stations including 89.7 WJLU and 97.3 WERU. The forthcoming record, You Are the One, is the current base of music from which the modern rock band plays. Frank currently resides in West Palm Beach, FL as the director of music & arts at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. His congregation supports God's call on his life to tours & special events with his band & ministry team.
